چکیده
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) are a highly prevalent work-related health problem. Biomechanical exposure to hazardous postures during work is risk factor for the development of MSD. This study focused on developing an inertial sensor-based approach evaluate posture in industrial contexts, particularly automotive assembly lines. The analysis was divided into two stages: 1) comparative joint angles calculated movements upper body segments using proposed motion tracking framework and ones provided by state-of-the-art capture system 2) evaluation operators working automative line. For study, we selected data collected laboratory (N = 8 participants) line settings 9 participants), while evaluation, only considered acquired within results revealed that could be applied track tasks performed sagittal plane, uncovered differences among different not traditional assessment instruments.

An Assembly Line Balancing Problem Automotive Cables
Received: 16 November 2014 Abstract Accepted: 11 January 2015 In this paper, an Assembly Line Balancing Problem (ALBP) is presented in a real-world automotive cables manufacturer company. This company found it necessary to balance its line, since it needs to increase the production rate. In this ALBP, the number of stations is known and the objective is to minimize cycle time where both precede...
متن کاملA Lean Manufacturing Roadmap for an Automotive Body Assembly Line within Axiomatic Design Framework
In this paper we are to present a practical application of Axiomatic Design (AD) methodology, as a roadmap to lean production, in redesigning a car body assembly line. Axiomatic Design theory provides a framework to simplify the whole problem. According to the AD principles, a hierarchical structure has been developed. The developed structure originated in lean manufacturing principles and exis...

متن کاملPose estimation using line-based dynamic vision and inertial sensors
In this paper, an observer problem from a computer vision application is studied. Rigid body pose estimation using inertial sensors and a monocular camera is considered and it is shown how rotation estimation can be decoupled from position estimation. Orientation estimation is formulated as an observer problem with implicit output where the states evolve on (3). A careful observability study re...
